A stereo 12dB/octave state-variable filter that treats the stereo field itself as a parameter, eight filter modes and a dedicated imaging control reshape not just tone, but where each channel’s resonance sits in the stereo image.
Moon Phase runs two matched 12dB/octave state-variable filters with a stereo imaging control layered on top, letting the resonant peaks of the left and right channels separate, converge, or swap position across the stereo field rather than staying fixed to their own channel.
Eight filter combination modes cover the usual low-pass, band-pass, and high-pass territory and the combinations between them, a Span control sets how far apart the two channels’ filters can drift, and audio-rate CV on cutoff, imager, and span means the whole stereo picture can move as fast as the sound running through it.
An imaging control repositions each channel’s resonant peak across the stereo field, turning a mono filter sweep into a moving stereo one.
Low-pass, band-pass, high-pass, and notch-style combinations across two channels, selectable as a single mode rather than patched together from separate filters.
Cutoff, the stereo imager, and the Span control between channels all accept audio-rate CV, so the stereo field itself can be modulated as fast as any other parameter.
Moon Phase is sold through Patching Panda’s dealer network rather than direct from the site.
