A VCA-decay module built around mute groups — trigger several channels together and Punch MG decides who ducks, who holds, and how the resulting pattern shifts with every group hit.
Punch MG’s four VCA-decay channels can be linked into a mute group, so triggering more than one at once doesn’t just stack them — the module can duck or amplitude-limit the others, and let the group interaction itself shape decay and level from one hit to the next, so the same input pattern doesn’t play back identically twice.
Two units link together to expand the group to eight signals, each channel’s envelope output can be inverted from the front panel for side-chain and ducking work outside the mute group itself, and an audio-rate signal into the level input opens up amplitude modulation beyond straightforward triggering.
Four independent VCA-decay channels that can be linked into a mute group, so simultaneous triggers duck or amplitude-limit each other instead of simply stacking.
The mute group’s own interaction feeds back into amplitude and decay, so a repeated trigger pattern keeps shifting instead of looping identically.
Link two units for an 8-signal group, invert any channel’s envelope output from the front panel, and drive level with an audio-rate signal for AM or ducking.
Punch MG is sold through Patching Panda’s dealer network rather than direct from the site.
