Moon Phase runs two matched 12dB/octave state-variable filters with a stereo imaging control layered on top, letting the resonant peaks of the left and right channels separate, converge, or swap position across the stereo field rather than staying fixed to their own channel.

Eight filter combination modes cover the usual low-pass, band-pass, and high-pass territory and the combinations between them, a Span control sets how far apart the two channels’ filters can drift, and audio-rate CV on cutoff, imager, and span means the whole stereo picture can move as fast as the sound running through it.

Stereo imaging, not just filtering

An imaging control repositions each channel’s resonant peak across the stereo field, turning a mono filter sweep into a moving stereo one.
