Each of Punch’s two channels can switch between a vintage-style drum-machine decay and a more flexible dynamic CV mode, with an adjustable exponential response that runs anywhere from a smooth, natural fade to a sharp, aggressive cutoff, the same core idea Punch MG builds mute groups around, distilled to two independent channels.
Both channels’ envelopes can be inverted from the front panel, which combined with the accent input makes side-chain-style ducking straightforward without any extra utility modules, and each channel responds to a trigger, a gate, or continuous CV depending on how it’s patched.
